Premier League winner 73% likely to join Everton according to bookies

The odds now suggest he’s on the brink of making this switch.

Odds on Fabian Delph joining Everton have shortened dramatically over the weekend from 10/11 to 4/11. That’s an implied probability of 73.3% that the transfer goes ahead.

One of many Everton transfer rumours currently circulating in the press, Delph’s switch to the Toffees appears to be a real possibility according to bookies.

Punters think so too, with 85% of bets in the last 24 hours going on the former Leeds and Aston Villa midfielder heading to Merseyside.

The Manchester City man has found himself filling in at left-back for Pep Guardiola’s side with little to no hope of breaking into the star-studded midfield.

Now in the final year of his contract at City, the 29-year-old is being linked to a move to Goodison Park in the hope of rescuing his Premier League and England career.

Previously rumoured to be a transfer target for Galatasaray, the potential for a move to Turkey has cooled, with them now priced at 5/1.

Elsewhere the likes of West Ham (14/1) and Aston Villa (20/1) have also drifted as possible destinations.

Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek: “Fabian Delph is certainly a useful player to have in the ranks, with plenty of experience as a midfielder and now also as a full-back.

“The arrival of Rodri at City has put him further down the pecking order and he’ll be wanting more game time if he has his eye on the Euros next year.”
