Former Wales and Sunderland manager Chris Coleman has been cut from 25/1 in places to as short as 4/6 to take over as Sheffield Wednesday manager.
The Owls are on the hunt for a new boss after Steve Bruce controversially parted company with the club to fill the vacant post at Newcastle United.
Coleman endured a dismal spell at Sunderland, during which the club was relegated to League One and promptly sold.
His most recent job was as manager of Chinese Super League outfit Hebei China Fortune. After just over a year at the club, he was again sacked following a poor run of results.
Caretaker boss Lee Bullen is currently second in the market, priced at 4/1 having previously gone as short as 5/4.
Meanwhile, after a disappointing time at Stoke City, Gary Rowett is 6/1 third favourite. Recently departed Birmingham City manager Garry Monk is as short as 10/1 with one bookie, but 20/1 elsewhere.
