The Brazilian magician looks set to stay with the Catalan giants
Philippe Coutinho’s odds of staying at Barcelona past the end of the transfer window have plummeted, with reports suggesting he won’t be returning to the Premier League.
In the last 24 hours, the influx of bets that were being placed on the likes of Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool have now been placed on the Brazilian staying at the Camp Nou.
In total, 28% of all bets in the last 24 hours have backed Coutinho to remain at Barcelona. Arsenal are the next most popular team with 19% of all bets in the same time period.
That’s resulted in bookmakers cutting odds on Coutinho not signing a contract with any other club from 11/10 into 8/13.
Arsenal remain the second most likely destination for the forward at 9/4, with North London rivals just behind at 10/3.
It's 7/1 that the Brazilian re-joins Liverpool before the transfer window slams shut, with Wolves pitched as 16/1 shots alongside Inter Milan (25/1).
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “As the transfer window draws rapidly to a close, Philippe Coutinho must feel like the prettiest girl at the dance.
"With three English giants fighting over his signature, it seems an end to his Barcelona nightmare is imminent."
