The Ivory Coast international reportedly handed in a transfer request yesterday.
Following yesterday’s reports of Wilfried Zaha handing in a transfer request at Crystal Palace, bookmakers have once again shortened odds on him moving to Everton.
Now priced as short as 1/3 to sign the highly-rated attacker, the Toffees have a clear lead in the market ahead of Tottenham, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund.
The 26-year-old has been all over the news throughout this summer, mainly due to being heavily linked with a move to Arsenal.
However, recent developments have seen Everton jump to pole position in the race to sign Zaha.
A series of bids including cash and players have supposedly been rejected, but the Merseyside club remain clear favourites to get their man before the end of deadline day.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “Dortmund are an interesting market mover this morning, now as short as 9/2, but the sums associated with Zaha might rule them out of springing a late surprise.
“Everton seems the most realistic destination for the want-away winger, with the club seemingly set for a very busy deadline day. They’re also odds-on to sign Marcos Rojo from Man Utd.”
