It’s between the World Cup winner and Marcus Rashford
Paul Pogba has been priced at a lofty 4/1 to take Manchester United’s next Premier League penalty, following his miss last night against Wolves.
Missing his fourth penalty in just 11 attempts, bookies have judged that England international, Marcus Rashford, will step up at the next attempt.
Rashford is priced at 1/7 to take United’s next penalty in the league, indicating an 87.5% chance the striker will be taking the next spot-kick.
It's 12/1 that any other player in the team usurps both Rashford and Pogba, should you fancy neither to take the next penalty.
Elsewhere, the Red Devils are 40/1 to win the league, after starting the season at 66/1, still trailing Spurs (28/1), Liverpool (14/5) and Man City (1/2).
In other United-related markets, Rashford is in the reckoning for Golden Boot winner, priced at just 14/1 to score the most goals in the Premier League.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “He may have shelved the stutter run-up against Wolves, but Paul Pogba's penalty miss on Monday left United fans frothing at the mouth.
“Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's blasé approach to penalty takers cost his side dearly, and it's likely the next spot-kick will be solely under the remit of 100% man Marcus Rashford.”
