Odds SLASHED on Leicester City finishing in Premier League top four

The Foxes were 25/1 for Champions League football pre-season

Leicester City have had their odds divisively slashed on breaking into the top four this season, following a blistering start to their domestic campaign.

Brendan Rodgers’ side have been cut from 25/1 pre-season, into just 8/1 to end up with Champions League football for their 20/21 campaign.

That’s due to an influx of bets on the Foxes joining the ranks of Liverpool and Manchester City, with a whopping 41% of all bets in the last 24 hours backing Leicester to return to Europe’s top club competition.

In turn, they’ve now leapfrogged top half opposition, Everton (14/1) and Wolves (28/1) to finish in the top four, meaning Leicester are now seventh favourites.

They now only trail Man City (1/100), Liverpool (1/50), Tottenham (4/7), Arsenal (1/1), Manchester United (13/8) and Chelsea (29/10).

Elsewhere, Leicester are now just 2/1 to finish in the top six, indicating a 33.3% chance at the bookmakers.

Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “Picking up eight points from four matches, Brendan Rodgers and co have started the season as they mean to go on, and now punters are jumping on the bandwagon.

“Everyone wrote off Leicester throughout their 5000/1 Premier League win. With odds much lower for a Champions League finish this season, maybe Foxes fans can begin to dream again...”
