Steven Gerrard’s side have leapfrogged Feyenoord in the betting
Odds have been slashed on Rangers winning Group G and qualifying for the knockout rounds of the Europa League.
A number of firms have cut odds from 10/3 into as short as 9/4 following the 1-0 win at Ibrox, with Steven Gerrard’s side more popular in the betting than Porto.
Since the final whistle went last night, 44% of all bets in the market have backed Rangers to qualify for the last 32.
Portuguese side Porto maintain their favourite tag at the top of the market following their 2-1 win over Young Boys, being cut from 10/11 into 8/11.
Feyenoord have slid from 11/4 to 11/2 following the defeat, with bookies predicting just a 15% chance the Dutch side qualify after defeat last night.
Young Boys slide to the bottom of the market, and are now priced at a lengthy 14/1
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “"After being handed a tough-looking Europa League group, Stevie G will be delighted with the way his side have started the campaign.
"Porto are the group's big dogs, but after Rangers' excellent victory over Feyenoord, qualification is firmly in their hands."
