The Foxes forward has been cut from 100/1 into as short as 10/1.
Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has been heavily punted to be named the PFA Player of the Year, sending his price crashing in the market.
Pre-season, the forward was a whopping 100/1 long shot in the market to succeed the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah.
However, that price has been obliterated following Vardy’s scintillating start to the season, with bookmakers unanimously slashing odds. Some have gone as short as 10/1.
Vardy has been the recipient of a spate of bets in the market, accruing 26% of all bets in the last 24 hours.
That means he now slots in as third favourite to win the prestigious individual award with some bookies, only trailing favourite Kevin de Bruyne (9/2) and Raheem Sterling (6/1).
Sadio Mane follows next in the market behind Vardy at 16/1, then comes ex-winner van Dijk (20/1) and Salah (20/1).
Leading football stats providers, WhoScored.com, revealed that no player has scored more clear-cut goalscoring opportunities than Vardy (7) in the Premier League this season.
Of the 41 players to score 5+ goals, Vardy has a better conversion rate (44%) than any other player in Europe's top five leagues this season.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: "Jamie Vardy has been playing like a man possessed this season and Leicester's scintillating form under Brendan Rodgers owes plenty to their talisman up top.
"The 32-year-old has 11 goals in the bag already and is continuing to prove that he really is one of the country's very best strikers."
