The Portuguese manager has leapfrogged Massimilano Allegri at the top of the market
Wolves’ manager Nuno Espirito Santo has been revealed as the new clear favourite to take over as next permanent Arsenal manager, following a flurry of bets.
The Portuguese boss has been cut from 20/1 into as short as 10/11, with every bookmaker on the Oddschecker grids now making him favourite.
That’s because of the whopping amount of bets placed on the appointment over the last 24 hours, with 60% of bets in the time period backing him.
He is the best price of 5/4 to be handed the reigns at the Emirates Stadium.
Elsewhere, Allegri is the second favourite to take over at 7/1, followed by Mauricio Pochettino (8/1) and Freddie Ljungberg (10/1).
Ex-Gunner Mikel Arteta is the fifth favourite at 11/1, with Rafa Benitez following just after at 16/1.
