Tired fans and poor results, could we see two managers leave their post tonight?
Marco Silva and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are battling it out at the top of the next manager to leave market, ahead of crucial midweek fixtures for both Everton and Manchester United.
The Toffees boss is 4/7 clear favourite at the top of the market to leave the league next, with the Red Devils’ manager hot on his heels at 7/2.
Everton have failed to win in their last two and are currently, 9/1 to win the match tonight, ahead of one of the toughest Merseyside derbies in recent memory.
Solskjaer, the second favourite, is currently priced at 7/2, attracting 21% of all bets in the last 48 hours.
Solskjaer’s team have only won two of their last six, beating Brighton in the Premier League and FK Partizan in the Europa League. Tonight Ole will have to face his predecessor in Jose Mourinho as United take on Spurs.
As for the other contenders, a big market mover is Brendan Rodgers, amid links to Arsenal, and has been cut from 100/1 into 16/1 best price.
Elsewhere, the race for the Everton managerial vacancy is hotting up, with River Plate boss Marcelo Gallardo dropping from 33/1 to 2/1 to take over. Ex-boss, David Moyes has crept back in to be the favourite with one bookie and is available at as short as 1/2.
One firm is offering the best price of 2/1 that Moyes heads back for a Goodison renaissance.
