One firm is stating the transfer is odds-on
Odds have been decisively slashed on Paul Pogba joining Real Madrid in the upcoming transfer window, despite press speculation that United will not let their star man leave.
In fact, they've been cut in half from 5/1 into 5/2 best price, although one bookmaker on the Oddschecker grids have slashed their price into 4/5 odds-on.
That’s due to the heavy influx of bets on the blockbuster move happening, with 66% of all bets on Pogba’s next club in the last 24 hours backing the La Liga giants.
The next nearest challengers, at least according to bookmakers are PSG, currently priced at 14/1 to secure the services of the World Cup winner.
An Italian renaissance with Pogba’s old outfit, Juventus, is the next most likely destination for the Frenchman at 16/1.
Rumoured to be interested in the midfielder for the last few transfer windows, Barcelona are 25/1 to sign the United playmaker.
Football stat gurus WhoScored.com revealed that since Pogba's return to United, he's had the most key passes (164) out of every player at the club.
Pogba has also won the WhoScored MotM award in the league at least seven more times than any other United player (15).
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson:"Paul Pogba's been mysteriously absent for much of Manchester United's season thus far, and the strangest thing is that...nobody has seemed to notice.
"The Frenchman has received stick from the moment his £89m move to Old Trafford was completed, so it would come as no surprise if he jumped at the chance to link up with Zinedine Zidane in Madrid come January."
