Bookmakers have dramatically cut odds on RB Salzburg’s Erling Braut Haaland joining Italian giants Juventus in the January transfer window.
The Serie A champions were way out at 25/1 yesterday, but are now as short as 15/8, with one bookmaker a stand-out best price of 8/1 to sign him.
The Norwegian youngster had been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, with rumours leading to the club moving into odds-on favourites to sign the 19-year-old.
United remain favourites at 2/3, but they’ve drifted from 4/9 since Juventus entered the race.
While a Molde reunion with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was touted as a reason for Haaland choosing Man Utd, reports suggest the strong relationship between his agent and Juventus could be more impactful.
Haaland has netted 28 goals in 22 appearances for his club already this season, with eight of those coming in a phenomenal showing in the Champions League.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “There’s no doubt a big money move is on the cards for Erling Haaland, but his destination is still far from clear.
“Having given the media the run-around signing shirts and staring wistfully at departure boards, the odds movement today and 55% of bets on the market in the last 24 hours suggest Juve could be his next stop.”
