Can the Hammers secure the services of the England international?
West Ham have been installed as favourites to sign out-of-favour Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley, following reports the Englishman could leave this January.
Reports suggest a potential loan move could be on the cards, with the Hammers keen to reunite Barkley with the manager that brought him through the ranks at Everton – David Moyes.
That’s resulted in West Ham topping the market, currently priced at 4/1 to bring the midfielder in before the January window slams shut.
Since the market opened, 61% of all bets on where Barkley will end up have been placed on the London Stadium.
Elsewhere, Wolves have been pitched as second-favourites at 14/1, with Barkley potentially adding to a stretched squad competing in the Europa League.
Third favourites in the market is a club very familiar to Barkley, with Everton currently 16/1 to bring the 26-year-old back to Goodison Park.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “Ross Barkley's time at Chelsea appears to be over, as the England man is clearly absent from Frank Lampard's plans.
“It's no secret that West Ham boss David Moyes is an admirer of Barkley, and he could be just the man to revive the 26-year-old's career.”
