The Crystal Palace boss is feeling the heat as punters back him to get the chop.
Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has shortened from 33/1 into as short as evens in places to be the next Premier League manager to leave their post.
That 33/1 had been chipped away at since Saturday, and the veteran manager now finds himself a best price of 7/2 to go next.
The movement comes as Crystal Palace slumped to a 1-0 defeat at home to Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon, leaving them 14th in the Premier League.
A howler from goalkeeper Vicente Guaita was the difference between the two sides, with the Eagles extending their winless run in the Premier League to six matches.
Punters have continued to back Hodgson to leave throughout the weekend. In the last 24 hours, 51% of bets on the market have gone on the 72-year-old.
The market had previously been topped by under fire Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but he’s since drifted out to 10/1 with some bookmakers.
Aston Villa’s Dean Smith follows Hodgson in the market as it stands, at a best price of 7/1.
