The Norwegian wonderkid has already taken the Bundesliga by storm.
It’s safe to say Erling Braut Haaland has hit the ground running since joining Borussia Dortmund.
In response to his spectacular form since moving from RB Salzburg, Sky Bet have priced up a number of specials, including how many consecutive games the Norwegian will score in and his final tally for the season.
The 19-year-old has scored seven goals in just 136 minutes of league football for his new club.
Haaland bagged a 20 minute hat-trick against Augsburg and a 10 minute brace against Koln before even starting a game for Dortmund. His first start for die Schwarzgelben, against Union Berlin, saw him score yet another brace. That takes his Bundesliga goal tally to a staggering seven in just three games.
The boosted price on Haaland to score in his next three league games, from 7/1 to 10/1, will catch plenty of eyes.
Elsewhere, the son of Alf-Inge Haaland is priced at 1/2 to score 15+ league goals, while the long shot in the market is 30+ league goals at 300/1.
Not only is Haaland the first player in history to score seven goals in his opening three Bundesliga games, but WhoScored noted that his first seven shots on target in the league were all goals and that the longest he has taken to score in his four appearances in all competitions so far is 22 minutes.
With that in mind, Sky Bet make him 3/1 to score in 5+ consecutive games (having scored in three so far).
The Sky Bet specials focus on his league goals, but Haaland also scored in Dortmund’s DFB Cup defeat to Werder Bremen on Tuesday.
Last season’s Golden Boot winner Robert Lewandowski bagged 22 goals to finish top of the pack. The Bayern Munich ace is already on that same tally after just 20 appearances this season and is a best price of 2/5 to finish as the top goalscorer in 2019/20.
Haaland to match that return and score 22+ goals this season is priced at 9/1.
Borussia Dortmund’s next three fixtures begin with a trip to Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday, followed by Eintracht Frankfurt (H) and Werder Bremen (A).
Oddschecker Football writer Ryan Elliott: “Everyone knew Erling Haaland was the business when he burst onto the scene with RB Salzburg at the start of the season, but did anyone expect him to begin his Bundesliga career this well?
“The Norwegian wonderkid is sure to continue making a splash in Germany's domestic ranks, although he's a player who could also make a serious splash at Euro 2020...should Norway qualify.”
