It's now just 7/2 that Liverpool are crowned champions without taking to the pitch again...
Odds have been cut on Liverpool lifting the Premier League trophy, without playing another game this season.
Despite holding a whopping 25 point advantage over second placed Manchester City, it’s still statistically possible for Pep Guardiola’s side.
However, odds on ‘yes’ in the market ‘Will Liverpool be declared winners of the 2019/20 Premier League before another fixture is played?’ have been cut from 8/1 into 7/2.
When looking at the actual odds for who will be crowned champion come to the end of the season, the Reds are now 1/50 to win their first-ever Premier League title.
In implied percentage talk, that’s a ridiculous 98% chance that Jurgen Klopp secures the crown jewel for Liverpool’s historic trophy cabinet.
On the flip side, Man City are currently priced at 36/1 to win the league, indicating just a 2.7% chance.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “There's no outcome to this unfortunate saga which will please everyone, though it feels like any eventuality which results in Liverpool not winning the Premier League title will be particularly harsh.
"The Reds have been overwhelmingly dominant this season, and while the relegation and top four battles are yet to be decided, the main prize should surely belong to Liverpool - whatever happens."
