He was priced at 50/1 to make the move this time last month, but he’s now as short as 4/1.
Bookmakers have cut odds on Willian moving to Liverpool from Chelsea this summer transfer window.
The Brazilian was priced at 50/1 to make that move previously, but he’s now as short as 4/1. The best price available on oddschecker is 5/1.
This movement comes following several reports in the British press that Liverpool are supposedly in talks with the player over a shock free transfer.
The 31-year-old winger is out of contract at Chelsea at the end of this season and hasn’t agreed to a new deal at the Blues.
While he’s been linked to a host of clubs including Barcelona (12/1), Arsenal (6/1) and Spurs (4/1), it’s the current league leaders and former suitors Liverpool that are firmly in the news today.
Willian has scored seven goals and provided six assists in all competitions this season.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “Willian certainly has title-winning credentials, having won two Premier League titles, the League Cup, FA Cup and Europa League at Chelsea.
“The player looked set for a move to either Liverpool or Spurs back in 2013 before Chelsea swooped in late. Since then he’s been a useful servant to the club, but a player of his experience could represent a real coup for the Reds.”
