The market is looking very positive for Toon fans.
Odds have been slashed further on Mauricio Pochettino being the next Newcastle United boss, following a flurry of bets.
Pochettino was cut into second-favourite yesterday, although is now the clear favourite in the market at as short as 10/11, despite being as long as 14/1 just a couple of weeks ago.
One firm is still offering the best price of 5/4 on the appointment, still making him the favourite.
In the last 24 hours, a whopping 51% of all bets in the market have backed Pochettino.
Newcastle icon Kevin Keegan has drifted in the market and is now out to as long as 14/1 to take over at St James Park again.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: "In a headline which would have looked truly mind-boggling 12 months ago, former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino's sensational move to Newcastle is another step closer.
"After taking the Londoners to the Champions League final last season, the sky seemed the limit for Poch, but the lucrative move to the North East which The Magpies' prospective new owners could offer may well prove too tempting for the Argentine."
