How detrimental could this be for the Cherries?
Eddie Howe has announced that Ryan Fraser has played his last game for Bournemouth and will not be a part of the club's last nine games for the end of season run-in. A big call to make when the club sits in 18th with a relegation battle imminent.
Fraser has made transfer headlines in the past with previous rumours linking him with Liverpool. However, this time they are way out with odds being offered at 14/1 to join the European Champions.
Instead this time it is Arsenal who are labelled the favourites by bookmakers being 5/2 at best odds to sign Fraser, that’s a 29% implied probability that he will swap the seaside for the city this summer.
Everton have been swapped with their Merseyside rivals in the running for Fraser this time, being the second favourite to attract the Scottish international, available at 3/1.
It looks likely that Fraser will be settling down in London come the start of next season though, as, alongside the Arsenal rumours, the third and fourth favourites to sign him are Tottenham at 4/1 and Crystal Palace at 6/1.
Despite Arsenal being favourites to sign Ryan Fraser, Tottenham seem to be attracting the eye of the punter more as they have taken 47% of all bets to make the signing since markets opened.
Ryan Fraser next clubs odds:
Arsenal – 5/2
Everton – 3/1
Tottenham – 4/1
Crystal Palace – 6/1
Chelsea – 12/1
West Ham – 12/1
