United have overtaken Chelsea as third favourites.
Manchester United’s 3-0 procession over Brighton last night has resulted in even more punters backing them for Premier League glory next year.
United have been the most backed side to win the title next year, attracting a whopping 61% of all bets following last night’s performance.
What’s more, is that the Red Devils are also the most backed over the last seven days, accruing around 28% of all bets in the market.
That’s resulted in a number of top UK bookies slashing odds on United winning the title, cutting the odds from 25/1 into 16/1 best price.
Some firms are taking even more precautionary measures, with Ladbrokes and Coral going as short as 12/1 that United add another Premier League trophy to their mantelpiece.

Leading football stats providers, WhoScored.com, revealed that only Liverpool (7) have conceded fewer goals than Manchester United (8) in 2020. Bruno Fernandes (7.91) is also the best rated Premier League player in 2020
Elsewhere, despite running somewhat off the pace in the 19/20 season, Man City (11/10) are clear favourites to win the league next year.
That means the 19/20 all-conquering Liverpool have slid out to odds-against second favourites, currently 13/8 in the betting.
Chelsea have slipped down to fourth favourites at 18/1, followed by Tottenham (50/1), Leicester (250/1) and Everton (250/1).
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: "As the weeks go by, Manchester United are starting to look more and more like the Red Devils of old.
"While there are still question marks over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's managerial capabilities, having a team so packed with young, exciting players has clearly caught the eye of the punters, and it will be very interesting to monitor their progress next season."
