Odds have been cut on Steven Gerrard's side...
With the Scottish Premiership season starting this Saturday, punters have been placing their money on who they think will win the league.
Will Celtic clinch a historic 10th title in a row, or can Steven Gerrard’s Rangers spoil the party? Oddschecker has taken a look at the title odds.
Celtic lead the market as clear favourites following their sublime domestic form, currently priced at 1/2 odds-on.
In percentage chances, that means bookies are predicting a 67% that Neil Lennon’s side are crowned champions come the end of the season.
On the other side of Glasgow, Rangers are 15/8 second-favourites, although have been more popular with punters than their Old Firm rivals.
Over the last week, 52% of all bets in the market have backed Rangers, compared to the 40% backing Celtic.
Bookies believe it’ll be a tough job for Aberdeen to top the table, currently priced at 66/1 in third favourite.
Hibernian are 200/1 to win the league, followed by Steven Robinson’s Motherwell side at 500/1.

Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “With the Scottish season about to get underway, we’ve seen increased interest in title betting this year.
“That comes to no surprise when you factor in everything riding on the season – and it appears that punters are keener to back Rangers at underdog prices.
“Steven Gerrard’s side opened up at 2/1 before being cut into 15/8 to stop Celtic’s 10-in-a-row ambitions.”
