Could CR7 join Mbappe and Neymar in Paris?
Cristiano Ronaldo’s next club market has been shaken up in the last 48 hours, with bookies cutting odds on a move to PSG.
Bookies have slashed odds from 7/2 into 7/5 that Ronaldo joins the Parisian giants after the transfer window – making them clear favourites.
That’s due to the weight of money placed on this season’s Champions League semi-finalists, with 52% of all bets backing PSG.
A reunion with David Beckham at Inter Miami is the second most likely option, according to bookies, with the MLS side priced at 10/3.
‘Any English club’ is the hot third favourite at just 4/1, with a move to a Premier League side well within a chance.
Real Madrid are 15/2 in the market to recapture arguably their greatest ever signing, whilst another of CR7’s former clubs, Manchester United, are a shade longer at 9/1.
Many top footballers return to the team of which they were produced, and Sporting Lisbon are 18/1 towards the bottom of the market.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: "Juventus' failure to win the Champions League under the dull stewardship of Maurizio Sarri won't have amused Cristiano Ronaldo, and at 35 years of age, the Portuguese might be ready for a new challenge."
"There will obviously be no shortage of suitors for CR7, but will the lavish riches PSG will doubtless promise prove too much of a temptation?"
