The out-of-favour Welshman is likely to be offloaded by Juventus in a bid to cut their wage bill this summer.
Bookmakers have cut odds on Manchester United signing Aaron Ramsey from Juventus. Having been priced at 6/1 yesterday morning, they’re now 11/4 favourites to sign him.
The Welshman only moved to the Italian giants last summer, completing a free transfer from Arsenal. His £400,000-a-week wage was widely reported at the time, and that’s said to be a key factor in him being put up for sale.
The 29-year-old made 24 league appearances last season despite missing a chunk of the season through injury. However, reports in the press suggest he’s not part of new manager Andrea Pirlo’s vision for the club.

Elsewhere in the betting, Everton are second favourites at 7/1. They’re followed by a host of Premier League clubs including former club Arsenal at 14/1.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: "There’s only a handful of clubs in the world that could afford Aaron Ramsey’s wages, and the other clubs in the betting are unlikely destinations unless he took a hefty pay cut.
"Should Ramsey really be moved on by Juventus, Man Utd are certainly likely suitors, and rumours of an extraordinary move to Newcastle have somewhat cooled since their Saudi takeover fell through."
