Premier League winner odds
Having significantly strengthened their squad since finishing fourth last season, how high do bookies think Chelsea can go this season?
Chelsea are 12/1 to win the Premier League
The Blues managed to secure a Champions League place last season, but will be hoping to challenge the top two in the upcoming campaign.
Frank Lampard’s side are third favourites ahead of the 2020/21 season, and while some bookies go as short as 9/1, they’re 12/1 to win the title.
Chelsea have been by far the busiest club in the transfer window so far, splashing some serious cash following their transfer ban. So far they’ve secured Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr. A deal for German star Kai Havertz appears to be all but complete too.
The quality of Chelsea’s transfer business can’t be argued with, but whether or not Frank Lampard can get his new look team firing together straight away is up for debate.
Liverpool and Man City still set for title shootout
While Chelsea’s high profile signings have caught the eye, bookies still expect them to be a way off the top two this season.
Man City are odds-on across the board and a best price of 8/11, receiving a flood of support in the market since being linked with a move for Lionel Messi. Regardless of whether they make the signing to end all signings, the strength of their squad already warrants favouritism.
Liverpool are about the price they were to win the title last season, and we all know how that ended. At a best price of 5/2, Jurgen Klopp’s side could well make it back-to-back league titles.
Chelsea are their nearest rivals at 12/1, while last season’s third place team Man Utd are priced at 20/1.

Who will be Chelsea's top goalscorer?
New signing Timo Werner is heavily fancied to be Chelsea’s top scorer this season.
The 24-year-old bagged a goal on his debut in pre-season and fans are expecting big things from the new arrival. Bookies make him fifth favourite for the Premier League golden boot, priced at 12/1.
The German scored 28 goals in 34 appearances for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga last season, only Robert Lewandowski scored more.
The next Chelsea name on the list is Tammy Abraham, way down at 33/1. The Englishman has been linked with a move away, but is likely to stay and provide competition for Werner.
Next Premier League manager to be sacked: how safe is Frank Lampard?
Frank Lampard is sitting pretty in this market, in that he’s a comfortable distance down the list. The Chelsea boss is 22/1 in places, but a best price of 33/1 to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post.
The heat is likely to be on for those managing a team in the bottom half, so it would be a huge shock for Lampard to enter this conversation.
Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson is the current favourite in the market at 6/1. He's closely followed by West Ham manager David Moyes at 8/1.
