What price are Leeds to finish in the top half? Read oddschecker’s preview of all the key markets ahead of the new season.
Premier League top half odds
After a sixteen year wait, Leeds United have finally returned to the Premier League after winning the Championship. So where do the bookmakers think the Peacocks will finish in the new campaign?
Leeds are outsiders to finish in the top half
After a brilliant Championship campaign of Marcelo Bielsa getting Leeds to play his trademark style of play running over the competition, bookmakers have priced up Leeds as low as 7/4 to finish in the top half.
Leeds have not been shy in the transfer market bringing in a total of nine transfers so far. As they weren’t able to keep Ben White after his loan spell from Brighton, Bielsa has brought in German International, Robin Koch to bolster their defence.
Rodrigo has also been recruited from Valencia to add to their attack, a proven striker from Spain’s LaLiga. The Spaniard broke the club's transfer record after it standing for 20 years, so it is clear they mean business amongst their return to the Premier League.

How well will Fulham and West Brom do?
After a 2-1 win in an East-London play off final against Brentford, Fulham have returned to the Premier League after only one season in the Championship.
West Brom are also back in the Premier League finishing second to Leeds, however, bookmakers seem to think that Leeds will have a much more promising return than Fulham and West Brom.
Furthermore, the bookies have priced up the pair as bottom favourites to finish in the top half, offering West Brom at 12/1 and Fulham at 14/1 to end the season in the top ten.
In likely fashion, the two are also joint-favourites to be relegated being offered at 11/10 best price.

Who will be Leeds' top goalscorer?
Leeds new record-breaking signing Rodrigo is the favourite to be the club's top goalscorer.
Despite the £27m price tag the bookmakers have priced the Spaniard up at 80/1 to win the Golden Boot this season.
As long as that price is it’s a lot shorter than strike partner Patrick Bamford, who is being offered at 150/1 to win the Golden Boot.
Next Premier League manager to be sacked: is Marcelo Bielsa safe?
It is clear that Marcelo Bielsa is a fan favourite amongst the Leeds fans, however, that isn’t always enough if the results aren’t going their way on their return to the Premier League.
The Argentine is being offered at 20/1 best price to be the first manager to be sacked ahead of the new campaign. Whilst newly promoted bosses Slaven Bilic (14/1) and Scott Parker (11/1) are both being offered shorter than Bielsa.
The transformation which Bielsa has done to Leeds has definitely been what the club has been after for a number of years, and has instilled a style of play that excites the fans and most importantly gets results.
It is unlikely that he will he would be the first manager to go after an incredible amount of faith has been put into him, it seems it would take an utterly horrendous start for him to leave their post before any other Premier League boss.
