Premier League top four odds
Leicester City managed to finish fifth in 2019/20, but will feel they could have done better. How do bookies expect them to get on this season?
Leicester are 9/1 to finish in the Premier League top four
Leicester spent much of last season in the top four, but a poor run of form and worrying defensive displays post-restart saw them slip to a fifth place finish.
Brendan Rodgers’ men are as short as 7/1 to manage a top four finish this time round, but a best price of 9/1.
It’s been a quiet transfer window for the Foxes so far, with the biggest bit of news being Ben Chilwell’s big money move to Chelsea. However, they’ve brought in the first of possibly a few defensive reinforcements in the shape of Timothy Castagne from Atalanta.
While Chilwell has departed the club, Leicester have kept hold of last season’s golden boot winner Jamie Vardy and sought-after James Maddison. Should they shore up the defence, Leicester could once again be in amongst the top teams again this season, but they’ll be facing a tougher challenge.
Stiffer competition for top four this season with Chelsea and Man Utd favourites behind top two
Man City (1/25) and Liverpool (1/12) occupy the top two spots in this market, but at such short prices you can almost ignore them here.
Man Utd (1/2) and Chelsea (8/15) are both odds-on to finish inside the top four, with the market currently reflecting the four teams that finished there in 2019/20. However, it looks like bookies are expecting it to be tightly fought this time.
North London rivals Arsenal (3/1) and Tottenham (7/2) are short in the market, while Wolves (13/2) are fancied to improve on seventh last season.
It has to be said that the teams around Leicester in the table last season have all strengthened significantly, so their task will be that much harder.

Who will be Leicester City's top goalscorer?
The first Leicester City name you’ll come across in the Premier League top goalscorer market is of course Jamie Vardy.
Last season’s golden boot winner is a best price of 18/1 to scoop the award this season, and 14/1 with some bookies.
33-year-old Vardy saw off competition from the likes of Danny Ings and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang last season, scoring 23 goals to finish top of the charts. Bookies aren’t giving him too much chance of repeating the feat, with no fewer than seven candidates shorter in the market.
Next Premier League manager to be sacked: how safe is Brendan Rodgers?
Brendan Rodgers doesn’t look to be in any danger here, priced at 25/1 to be sacked next.
The Northern Irishman has done an excellent job since joining Leicester last year and signed a new long-term deal back in December, which intends to keep him at the club until 2025.
The top of the sack race market is unsurprisingly dominated by managers of teams in the bottom half. Roy Hodgson is the current favourite at 6/1, followed by David Moyes at 8/1.
