Spurs are favourites with every bookie offering odds
Odds continue to tumble on Gareth Bale joining his former side Tottenham, with Spurs now a short price favourite across the board.
Every firm offering odds on the transfer has Jose Mourinho’s side as the most likely candidates with odds cut from 10/1 into 5/4 in the last month.
That’s considerably far ahead of second favourites Manchester United, who are 10/1 in the race for the Real Madrid outcast.
Those are the two sides attracting the vast majority of punters’ cash, with Spurs receiving 26% of all bets in the last month and United 18%.
There’s been a considerable amount of interest in Bale playing in America next year, with odds trimmed into 16/1 for any MLS side.
Everton completed a huge move for former Madrid man James Rodriguez yesterday, and are now 16/1 to add another in Bale.

PSG (25/1) and Juventus (33/1) are circling around the edge of the market, whilst a move to North London rivals Arsenal (33/1) also looks unlikely.
Once a favourite in the market for Bale, Newcastle are now as long as 275/1 to sign the Welshman, after adding Ryan Fraser to their ranks.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “Spurs, Manchester United, Newcastle and Chelsea, - they’ve all been marked as favourites at some point for wantaway Welsh star Gareth Bale.
“However, the hierarchy at the Bernabéu has stifled interest from Europe’s elite when it comes to shipping out their 100-million-euro man.
“Spurs look in prime position to secure his services, however, and have been very well supported in the market ahead of Manchester United.”
