It looks increasingly likely that Man Utd will be unable to capture the signing
Jadon Sancho’s odds of remaining at Borussia Dortmund continue to shorten, with reports suggesting the Three Lions star will not be joining Manchester United.
The 20-year-old is now 1/3 to stay at Borussia Dortmund, which is an implied probability of 75%.
The London born star had been odds-on throughout the summer to join Man Utd, being as short at 1/33 at on the 5th May, 2020.
However, he has now drifted out to 9/4 to make the move after the two sides are unable to agree on the fee for Sancho. Dortmund do not want to sell the youngster, and the sporting director has said he will play for them this season.
So, Man Utd are now considering replacements for Sancho, but who are the most likely signings according to the bookmakers?
David Brooks is on their radar and they are priced at 6/4 to secure the signing of Welsh international. An exciting talent, his last year has been plagued by injury. There is no doubting his ability and if he can keep fit, he could add a lot to the Man Utd squad.

Kingsley Coman is also being eyed up for a move to Man Utd. The French winger is 7/2 to sign for Solskjaer’s side. The 24-year-old scored the winner in the Champions League final last season, and would be a massive boost if Ed Woodward could secure his services.
He has taken 86% of bets in the market on his next move, but Bayern Munich have stated they do not want to sell the winger. However, Man Utd may make an offer they cannot refuse.
There has been rumours circulating a return to the Premier League for Gareth Bale, and Man Utd find themselves short in the betting along with Spurs.
Everyone in the footballing world knows Bale is not happy at Madrid under Zidane, so it would make sense for him to return to the Premier League.
It would be an incredible signing if Ed Woodward could pull it off.
According to the odds, those are currently the three wingers who are most likely to join Man Utd.
However, Dayot Upamecano is still 2/1 to make the move to Old Trafford. The RB Leipzig centre-back is being targeted by several clubs, with Real Madrid the latest side to enter the race.
He is one of the emerging talents across Europe, and Solskjaer is still keen to shore up his defence.
The Frenchman could be the perfect partner for Harry Maguire, to take Manchester Utd’s defensive line to the next level.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “As is often the way during Ed Woodward's reign, Manchester United look set to miss out on their man.
Of course, not signing Jadon Sancho isn't catastrophic, but looking through the list of replacements, it's hard to make a case for any being a better acquisition than the England youngster."
