Diogo Jota next club odds: Liverpool slashed to 1/7 favourites to sign Wolves star

Several reputable sources confirmed Liverpool's interest in Jota on social media this afternoon

Bookmakers have slashed odds on Wolves star Diogo Jota making a move to Liverpool. Having been priced at 4/1 earlier today, they’re now odds-on at 1/7 to sign him.

Rumours have been circulating today after the Portuguese international was left out of the Wolves squad in their 1-0 defeat to Stoke last night, creating speculation around his future.

The 23-year-old has had a good few years at the midlands club racking up 44 goals and 19 assists in 131 matches.

AC Milan are second-favourites way out behind Liverpool at 18/1 to attack the forward to the Italian giants.

A move to Liverpool’s North West rivals Manchester United is also available at 20/1 with Leicester not far behind them at 25/1.

An impressive couple of seasons in the Premier League for the youngster has seen him be called up to the Portuguese national team, with whom he won the Nations League 2019.

Linking up with Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus is priced up at 25/1.

Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “This story’s popped up out of nowhere, but having been priced up at 4/1 this morning, the prices have crashed since several reliable sources confirmed Liverpool’s interest in Jota.

“Liverpool are also 1/10 favourites for Ismaila Sarr, but the rumours suggest Jota is their first choice to provide back up to the front three.”
