Solskjaer has overtaken previous favourite Scott Parker
Odds have been decisively slashed on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer being the first Premier League manager to leave, following Manchester United’s 6-1 thrashing by Tottenham.
Bookies across the country have cut odds from 20/1 into 2/1 that the Norwegian is the first Prem boss to leave the league this season.
In fact, Unibet are offering odds as short as 5/4 that Solskjaer leaves, the equivalent of a 44.4% chance.
Punters have been piling into the Red Devils manager to go after the sixth went in yesterday, with a whopping 72% of all bets since the United match all backing Solskjaer.
There’s some relief for previous favourite Scott Parker, who’s drifted out from as short as 8/11 to 3/1 to be the first gone.

Burnley’s Sean Dyche is the third favourite at the bookies, currently priced at 14/1, a shade shorter than Slaven Bilic (14/1) and Roy Hodgson (16/1).
Chris Wilder (16/1), Frank Lampard (20/1) and David Moyes (20/1) are all on the periphery of the market, whilst Jose Mourinho (20/1) and Steve Bruce (25/1) all seem safe for the time being.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “This experiment has to end. Quite why Manchester United have persisted with the under-qualified Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for so long is anyone's guess, but it has to end.
"Not only have results and performances been abysmal this season, but the spectre of jobless Mauricio Pochettino casts a long shadow over the Norwegian's shambolic reign, and United would be foolish not to go for him.
“Currently sitting clear favourite in the market, Pochettino is 9/5 to be named next United boss, ahead of second favourite Massimiliano Allegri (7/1).”
