Manchester United’s home defeat to Arsenal has resulted in a flurry of bets on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer being the first Premier League manager to leave.  

In the last 24 hours, 38% of all bets in the market have backed the Norwegian boss, causing his price to crash. 

In fact, some firms have cut his odds exactly in half, from 10/1 into 5/1, that Solskjaer is given his marching orders before any other league boss.

That means the under-fire manager is now third-favourite in the market, now only trailing favourite Slaven Bilic (2/1) and struggling Fulham gaffer Scott Parker (5/2).  

A trio of English bosses follow next, with Sean Dyche (8/1), Chris Wilder (14/1) and Frank Lampard (16/1).  

There’s been a bit of positive movement for pre-season favourite for the chop, Roy Hodgson, who has lengthened out from 5/1 to 20/1. 

Leading football stats site, WhoScored.com, revealed that United have conceded more goals at home than any other team in the Premier League this season (10). 

Only Torino (11) have conceded more goals at home across the 98 teams in Europe's top five leagues.
