Liverpool favourites with some bookmakers

Liverpool are favourites with a number of bookmakers for the Premier League after their 1-1 draw with Man City.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are now a best price of 13/8, having been 2/1 before Sunday’s game.

They had drifted to as big as 5/2 last month following the news of Virgil Van Dijk’s injury, but after a number of good performances, their price has contracted.

City are just behind them in the betting at 7/4, but some bookmakers can’t split the two, making them both 13/8.

Oddschecker users think Liverpool offer the value at the front of the market. In the last 24 hours, Liverpool have had over double the bets placed on them compared to Man City

Leicester most backed for title over weekend

Despite Liverpool and Man City both being at the front of the market, neither are the most backed through oddschecker.

After a 1-0 victory against Wolves, Leicester are being heavily backed to win the Premier League.

In the last two days, Leicester have received 25% of bets in the market on oddschecker, making them the most backed side.

This has seen their odds cut into a best price of 28/1.

Brendan Rodgers’ side were 50/1 before the weekend, but are now as short as 22/1.

Available at a huge 250/1 before the season started, could we see a repeat of their extraordinary 2015-16 season.

The Premier League has already thrown up some incredible results so far this season, so you can’t rule anything out.

With the big teams dropping points regularly, punters think Leicester could be part of the title race this season.

The Foxes currently sit at the top of the Premier League following three victories on the bounce.

They already beat Man City 5-2 earlier in the season, and with Liverpool on the horizon after the international break, they could throw themselves in the hat should they beat the current premier League holders.

Kane and Salah joint-favourites for top scorer

Both Harry Kane and Mohammed Salah both scored again this weekend, to take to take their goal tally’s to seven and eight respectively.

They are now clear at the head of the market, both a best price of 4/1 to win the Golden Boot

Jamie Vardy scored another Penalty against Wolves to take his goal tally to eight, and he could have gone to the top of the list if he hadn’t missed a second penalty later in the match.

However, he is still third-favourite in the market at a best price of 13/2 to win the award for the second year in a row.
