Bookmakers have slashed odds on John Terry being named the next manager of Derby County, making the former England international favourite.
Terry has been cut from 7/1 in 6/4 to take over at the club, with some firms offering odds as short as 1/2.
He overtakes previous favourite, Sam Allardyce, who has slid out to 4/1 in the market. Sky Bet are offering odds as short as 2/1.
England’s all-time record scorer and current Derby player, Wayne Rooney, is available at 14/1 in the betting.
Two recognised managers in Rafa Benitez (14/1) and Steve McClaren (16/1) follow next, with the latter drifting over the last few days.
Leading football stats site, WhoScored.com, revealed that Derby haven’t scored more than once in any of their 12 games.
They’re also the lowest-scoring side in the Championship, scoring a paltry five goals this season.
