Curtis Jones’ impressive displays for Premier League champions Liverpool have resulted in a flurry of bets on the teenager making the Euros.
Back in March, Jones was priced at 50/1 to be included in Gareth Southgate’s plans. As of this morning, Bet Victor are offering odds of just 3/1.
That’s due to Jones being by far the most popular bet in the market over the last 24 hours, with a whopping 61% of all bets in that time period backing the 19-year-old.
There’s tough competition in the Three Lions midfield, however, with the likes of teammate Jordan Henderson (1/12), Declan Rice (1/8), Mason Mount (1/6), Jack Grealish (1/5) all ahead of him in the betting.

The strength in depth doesn’t stop there, with James Maddison (1/2), Kalvin Philips (1/1) and Harry Winks (6/4) all above Jones in the market.
Leading football stats site WhoScored.com revealed that only three players have a better pass success rate than Jones (92.4%) in the Premier League this season.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “England’s Euro 2020 squad looks a tough one to break into, but Liverpool’s Curtis Jones is making a late surge for Gareth Southgate’s 23.
“The 19-year-old has stepped up for Jurgen Klopp in recent weeks, but will he be able to displace some of the more seasoned members of the England set-up?”
