Jesse Lingard is Brighton's most likely signing
It’s shaping up to be a quiet window for Albion, but according to the bookies, their most likely signing is Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard. Priced at 12/1 to join Brighton, Lingard did spend a chunk of 2014 on loan at The Amex, which could perhaps sway his decision.
Unfortunately for Seagulls fans, Sheffield United, Real Sociedad, West Ham and Crystal Palace are all more likely to sign the 28-year-old according to the odds, but until further movements elsewhere, he’s still Brighton’s most likely signing.

Brighton transfer rumours: who else is on their radar?
Elsewhere, Brighton are 20/1 to sign left-back Danny Rose, in what would be a coup for Potter. Albion are in need of an out-and-out left-back, but there are a whole host of clubs ahead of the Seagulls in the market.
Manchester United outcast Sergio Romero is also on Albion’s radar, although he’s now odds-on to join Valencia, with a move to the south coast way out at 25/1.
While it’s still early into this January window, it’s unlikely owner Tony Bloom will provide Graham Potter with a war chest.
