Burnley transfer news: Who are the Clarets most likely to sign next?

Oddschecker bring you the latest Burnley transfer news, rumours and gossip. Who will Sean Dyche sign this January?

Burnley have had a mixed season so far and currently sit 16th in the table. Despite a couple of hammerings, their form has picked up more recently. Since their 5-0 defeat to Man City in November, they’ve tightened up at the back and beaten the likes of Arsenal and Wolves.

It’s looking unlikely that we’ll see much activity in the transfer market from the Clarets, but we’ve picked out the players priced up to make the move.

Phil Jones is Burnley’s most likely signing, according to the odds

It looks set to be a quiet January at Turf Moor, with Phil Jones the shortest price to make the move at 6/1 in places. The Manchester United defender is way down the pecking order and therefore often linked with a move away and has been linked with various loan moves.

Should James Tarkowski leave Burnley, a move for someone like Jones could become more feasible. Derby County are the team above Burnley in the market to sign him, priced at 5/2.

Burnley Transfer Rumours: Who else is on their radar?

Bookies clearly aren’t expecting any incomings at Burnley at this stage. Aside from Phil Jones, the shortest prices available are Troy Deeney (12/1), Danny Rose (16/1) and Andy Carroll (20/1)

As far as departures go, James Tarkowski’s future at the club is still in doubt. Their star defender is priced up for a move this January, with West Ham the 5/1 favourites to sign him.
