Max Aarons is currently Manchester United’s most likely signing

The 21-year-old has been in the crosshairs of a number of Europe’s biggest and best outfits since last season, with Barcelona reportedly being at the forefront of this wanting to sign the full-back on a season-long loan.

Aarons has previous Premier League experience having spent a season in the top flight with Norwich in 2019/20 before being relegated back down to the Championship.

Now Aarons is as short as he’s ever been to make the move to Old Trafford, down to 1/5 to leave the Canaries for the Red Devils.

There is no doubt that Daniel Farke and Norwich will not be letting the young prospect for a cheap price, and have apparently demanded a £30m buy-back clause for any transfer resulting in Aarons leaving the club.

Manchester United Transfer Rumours: Who else is on their radar?

Bookmakers have also priced another young English talent to make the move to Old Trafford this window, with Ben White now available at 3/1 to move to Manchester United.

Solskjaer has said their defence is a part the squad needs to strengthen and with the potential signings of both White and Aarons, he would definitely be doing a good job of future-proofing his squad if they reached their potential.

Another English starlet who just can’t stay away from sharing the headlines with Manchester United is Jadon Sancho, the 20-year-old is available at 5/1 to fill in the right flank of Ole’s starting eleven.
