West Bromwich Albion transfer news: Who are the Baggies most likely to sign?

Oddschecker bring you the latest West Brom transfer news, rumours and gossip. Who do West Brom have their eye on this January?

Since appointing survival-specialist Sam Allardyce, West Brom have struggled to display the defensive prowess that is indicative of an Allardyce team, conceding 13 goals in their last four matches. However, the team have managed to amass four points in that time, after securing a crucial 3 points away to Wolves at the weekend.

The Baggies now sit five points away from safety and Allardyce has made clear his intent to bring some fresh faces to The Hawthorns in a bid to stay in the top flight.

Currently Danny Rose is West Bromwich Albion’s most likely signing

Danny Rose has made no secret of his desire for a new challenge after a public fallout with Tottenham boss, Jose Mourinho and is said to be right at the top of Big Sam’s transfer list. Currently he is the bookmakers favourite to sign for West Brom at a price of 5/4.

With defensive solidity a priority, West Brom fans will be hopeful that the prospective signing of Danny Rose can improve the Baggies’ back line.

West Bromwich Albion Transfer Rumours: Who else is on their radar?

Sam Allardyce is also reportedly keen to bring in a striker and has his sights set on a traditional number nine. The odds suggest that Andy Carroll and Troy Deeney are both on Allardyce’s radar and are currently both priced at 3/1 to join West Brom.

Allardyce knows all about Andy Carroll’s attributes having managed him previously at Newcastle and West Ham. Allardyce certainly knows how to get the best out of him and with Carroll struggling for form it could be a move that suits all parties.
