Eddie Howe to Celtic? Former Cherries man bookies' second-favourite
Former Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has been circling around the top of the market for months now and has been well backed this morning.
The Englishman is the current 5/1 second-favourite and has been the most backed through Oddschecker this morning.
Since news of Lennon’s resignation, 38% of all bets in the market have backed Howe to make the move up north.

Who else is in the running?
Steve Clark is the strong third favourite in the market, currently priced at 6/1 despite leading the Scotland national team to the Euros this summer.
A European contingent follows next in the betting, with Roberto Martinez (8/1) and former odds-on favourite Rafa Benitez (10/1) in the market.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “Neil Lennon's exit has been a long time coming, so this won't act as much of a surprise to Celtic fans.
"There will be no shortage of suitors for the job, but whoever takes over has a major rebuild on their hands.
“It is worth bearing in mind that some bookmakers will pay out on John Kennedy if he manages 6+ games, which may be the main reason for his short price favouritism.”
Next Celtic manager odds:
- John Kennedy - 7/4
- Eddie Howe - 5/1
- Steve Clark - 6/1
- Roberto Martinez - 8/1
- Rafa Benitez - 10/1
- Frank Lampard - 10/1
- Thierry Henry - 20/1
- Alex Neil - 20/1
