Lucien Favre to Celtic? Former-Dortmund boss' odds start tumbling.
Former Borussia Dortmund manager Lucien Favre has been cut into short-priced second favourite to take over at Celtic.
Bookmakers have slashed odds from 10/1 into 9/4 on the Swiss manager taking over at the Glasgow side, with a number of bets placed on Favre in the last 48 hours.
That means Favre now only trails perennial market favourite Eddie Howe to scoop the job at Parkhead, with the former-Bournemouth boss available at 4/9.

Roy Keane has dropped to 7/1 third favourite in the market, followed by Enzo Maresca (9/1), Frank Lampard and Carlos Queiroz (12/1).
Former strong odds-on favourite John Kennedy has lengthened to 12/1, with Alex Neil (20/1) and Chris Wilder (20/1) following next.
Football stat gurus WhoScored.com revealed that in terms of points-per-game (all competitions) he is Dortmund's third-most successful manager ever (2.01), with Thomas Tuchel (2.12) and Helmut Schneider (2.08) leading the way.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “If Favre was to shorten to market leader, it would mark the ninth favourite in the hunt for Neil Lennon’s replacement.
“Eddie Howe, John Kennedy, Roy Keane, Enzo Maresca, Steve Clarke, Frank Lampard, Chris Wilder and Rafa Benitez have all been considered the most likely at some point.
“In the last 24 hours, 38% of all bets placed in the market have backed Favre to be the man in the dugout on the first day of next season– exciting news for Celtic fans.”
