Could Sarri-ball be heading to North London? Bookmakers have slashed odds on the former-Chelsea gaffer returning to the capital, as Tottenham search for a new boss.
Sarri to Tottenham? The bookies are increasingly confident
Maurizio Sarri is the new clear second favourite to take over at Tottenham Hotspur, following reports the club have made contact with the coach.
Bookmakers have slashed odds on the Italian replacing Jose Mourinho in the last few hours, from as long as 33/1 into just 5/1 at the time of writing.
Sky Bet have cut odds even further, offering prices as short as 2/1 and making the ex-Chelsea manager their current favourite.

All other bookies on the oddschecker grids are holding firm with Julian Nagelsmann as a slight favourite, now at the best price of 3/1.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “This market had been open for a number of months prior to Mourinho’s sacking and Nagelsmann has sat as favourite for the vast majority of it.
“However, a new name has entered the fray in Maurizio Sarri, who now only trails Nagelsmann in the bookies' estimations.
“In the last 12 hours, 24% of all bets in the market have backed Sarri returning to the Premier League, more so than any other candidate.”
