The Bluebirds have been cut from 16/1 into 11/8 market leaders…
Championship side Cardiff City have been cut into clear favourites to sign Champions League winner Gareth Bale, with reports of a wage restructure at Real Madrid.
The Bluebirds were 16/1 earlier in May, however, that price has been cut into as short as 5/4 with Sky Bet at the time of writing.
William Hill also make Cardiff clear favourite, but at the slightly better odds of 11/8. 64% of all bets in the last week have backed Cardiff in the market.

That’s resulted in Cardiff leapfrogging every other possible destination for the Welshman, with a permanent move to Spurs drifting out to 8/1.
The next nearest challenger to Cardiff is ‘any MLS side’, which is the second favourite in the betting, currently priced at 13/2.
In particular, David Beckham’s franchise Inter Miami are 10/1 to sign Bale this summer, followed by a move to China at 16/1.
Chelsea have drifted out to 20/1, alongside PSG (20/1), Manchester United (25/1), Bayern Munich (33/1) and Man City (50/1).
Remarkably, Gareth Bale had the best minutes per goal record in the Premier League last season with 84 minutes, per WhoScored.com.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: "In what would be a sensational Welsh homecoming, could Gareth Bale really move to Championship side Cardiff City?"
"Whether it’s the allure of Mick McCarthy or feeling homesick, one thing that is certain is bookies and punters alike believe Bale is on his way to back to Wales."
