John Terry is now the bookies' outright favourite for the vacant Swansea City manager’s post. He is currently 1/10 favourite for the position. News broke just this morning that he has left the assistant manager position at Aston Villa. The general chatter is that he has done so to prepare for the move to Swansea.
The second favourite for the position is Jody Morris at 6/1. There was also strong talk of QPR assistant John Eustace taking the position, however, rumour has it he's performed a shock u-turn by turning down the Swans' offer.

This would seemingly put John Terry into pole position. He has been under the tutelage of Dean Smith at Aston Villa for several years now and surely is ready to take on the main managerial position at a club like Swansea.
Oddschecker spokesperson Craig Smith: “After John Terry’s departure from Aston Villa this morning, it seems to be the green light for Swansea to go and secure his signature.
