Robert Lewandowski is currently as short as 9/4 to make the move to Manchester City this summer.
Lewandowski to Man City odds
Odds have been dramatically cut on Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski to make the move to Manchester. As of this morning, a Sky Sports report suggests he is looking for a new challenge and City seem one of the few clubs that could fund the potential £100m+ move.
Just last week the move was priced at 16/1 with numerous bookmakers, but that price has been cut into as short as 9/4 at the time of writing.

City is one of the few teams that could potentially fund the huge move, Lewandowski is arguably one of the finest strikers in world football and although coming to the tail end of his career he reportedly carries a hefty £110m price tag. The report states that Lewandowski would be interested in leaving before the age of 35, but Bayern look likely to price him out of a move beforehand with their valuation. PSG have just secured the services of Lionel Messi so they would seemingly be out of the running.
With the news only breaking this morning, expect much more movement in the market in the coming days. At the time of writing, no bookmaker is offering odds on Lewandowski staying at Bayern Munich this summer.
Who else is in the running to sign Lewandowski?
It seems to be a one-horse race with Man City out in front as the clear favourites for his signature at 9/4. The next club is Spanish giants Real Madrid into as short as 12/1. The third favourites are PSG at 25/1. Although with their current attacking trio and having just signed Messi this seems an unlikely prospect.
WhoScored.com revealed to us that last season Lewandowski finished with 48 goals and 9 assists in all competitions last season. A truly world-class return for a striker of his quality.
Oddschecker spokesperson Craig Smith: “Despite Manchester City’s pursuit of Harry Kane, I expect if it continues to drag on and Daniel Levy plays hardball then we could see Pep Guardiola trying to secure the services of the Polish striker.
"Despite his age, he is one of the finest strikers in world football and he could relish the chance to finish his best years at the top in the best league in the world.
