Champions League Odds
Lionel Messi’s transfer to PSG has sent ripples through the Champions League outright winner market, making the French outfit favourite ahead of the group stage draw.
Despite being as long as 8/1 a month ago, the Ligue 1 side now find themselves clear favourites, heading up the betting at 33/10 best price.
That’s just ahead of previous market leaders, Manchester City, who have lengthened from 3/1 out to 4/1 at the time of writing. Those two have dominated the betting over the last two weeks, with PSG attracting 51% of all bets, and City 11%.
German giants Bayern Munich are currently slotted as third favourites at 8/1, followed by Chelsea 9/1, Liverpool 10/1 and Manchester United (17/1).
Gone are the days where Barcelona were competing with favouritism, with the Catalan club now finding themselves as 22/1 before the group stage starts.
Real Madrid are the same price at 22/1, followed by Juventus (25/1), Atletico Madrid (28/1), Borussia Dortmund (50/1) and Inter Milan (70/1)
Other notable prices include; AC Milan (200/1), Ajax (200/1), Villareal (209/1) and Porto (300/1). Club Brugge (999/1) and Dynamo Kiev (1000/1) round off the market.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: “All eyes will be trained on PSG's draw, as the big-spending French outfit will be looking to finally win the Champions League.
"Lionel Messi's arrival has seen them installed as clear favourites, but could a nasty draw scupper their chances?"
