Steve Cooper odds-on favourite to become new Forest boss
The Championship has seen its first sacking of the season.
Nottingham Forest have decided to part ways with Chris Hughton, after a winless run of seven league games leaving the club bottom of the championship.
The current favourite for The Reds hotseat is former Swansea boss Steve Cooper. Cooper guided the Swans to the play-off final last year before being dismissed in pre-season but he is now odds-on-favourite to takeover Forest at 4/9.
Former Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder is next on the list and can be found at 9/4 following his release at the end of last season.
The other contenders for the job consist of former Norwich and Preston manager Alex Neil at 11/1, Aston Villa assistant and Chelsea legend John Terry at 16/1, Carlos Carvalhal at 20/1 and Paul Clement at 22/1.
