Chelsea have been installed as the new clear favourites to win the Premier League this season, following a flurry of bets on the West London side.
Prior to the season kicking off, Thomas Tuchel’s outfit were 6/1 in the betting to lift their first title since the 16/17 season.
However, a raft of quality signings and a scintillating start to the season has seen that price drop dramatically, now into just 2/1.
Over the last seven days, around 23% of all bets placed on the winner have backed the Blues, making them the most popular with punters.

Who are the other contenders
That means Chelsea have leapfrogged previous favourites Man City in the market, with Pep Guardiola’s outfit drifting out to 11/5 best price.
There are another two sides seriously being considered by bookies, with Liverpool a tad longer at 18/5 best price with SBK.
Finally, Manchester United round off the shorter price selections, with the addition of Cristiano Ronaldo, now find themselves at just 6/1.
There’s then a huge drop off to the next most likely, with Tottenham (200/1) and Arsenal (250/1) not being considered serious contenders by bookmakers.
