With Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola possibly eyeing an international job after his City contract runs out in 2023, it has left a host of names linked to the job.
Rodgers and Pochettino are joint favourites for City role
Manchester City fans were rocked with the news that current boss Pep Guardiola will not extend his contract past the summer of 2023, with the Spaniard eyeing a role in international management.
The uncertainty has led to a host of names being linked with the City job, with current joint favourites being Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers and PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino both available at 9/2.
It has been reported that Rodgers has recently distanced himself from the Newcastle job, but will he be enticed by the City role and the opportunity to work with one of the best squads in football.
Pochettino is currently at PSG trying to figure out the puzzle of how to bring the club its first Champions League trophy but a return to England could not be off the cards with the Argentine having previously managed two sides in England.
