Tougher tests to come

The only things holding Forest’s promotion price at better than evens are the relative strength of their opponents across the last 10 matches against what's to come in the next few weeks, combined with the six-point advantage for Bournemouth (without a goal in the last two matches) in the race for the second automatic promotion place behind Fulham.

Of the seven teams Forest have beaten across the last 10 matches, only Blackburn (7th) and Coventry (10th) are in the top 10 in the Championship table - two sides currently on indifferent runs of form.
