Nottingham Forest are still a best price 7/4 to get promoted from the Championship despite a run of five straight wins to extend a 10-match unbeaten run.
Forest the form team
Steve Cooper's side were available at 17/1 in the Championship promotion betting odds after losing at Cardiff City on January 30th - the last time Forest tasted defeat in the league.
Going into tomorrow's huge Good Friday clash with fellow promotion chasers Luton Town (best price 10/1), Forest (7/4) have won five on the bounce - scoring 15 goals and conceding just twice.
Even in the five games previous to the ongoing winning run, they had picked up nine points from 15 (two wins, three draws) - scoring seven and conceding only three.

Tougher tests to come
The only things holding Forest’s promotion price at better than evens are the relative strength of their opponents across the last 10 matches against what's to come in the next few weeks, combined with the six-point advantage for Bournemouth (without a goal in the last two matches) in the race for the second automatic promotion place behind Fulham.
Of the seven teams Forest have beaten across the last 10 matches, only Blackburn (7th) and Coventry (10th) are in the top 10 in the Championship table - two sides currently on indifferent runs of form.
By contrast, Forest follow their visit to Luton with a tricky looking six-match run to finish including trips to the league’s top two – Fulham and Bournemouth – before a potentially season-defining away day at Hull City on the final day of the regular season.
And should Forest end up in the playoffs, they will be able to draw upon their eye-catching run to the FA Cup quarter-finals, which saw them beat both Arsenal and Leicester at the City Ground before narrowly losing 0-1 to Jurgen Klopp’s quadruple chasing Liverpool.
