Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most backed transfer bets through oddschecker today, but is the Portuguese record-breaker really about to leave Manchester United?

Yet despite his goalscoring exploits, doubts persist over his future at the club for two reasons. Firstly, Ronaldo is reportedly worried about the club’s slow start to the first transfer window under new manager Erik ten Hag and seeking assurances over the level of reinforcements to expect between now and the new Premier League season starting in early August.
Secondly, although ten Hag tried to diffuse such a narrative at his official unveiling by saying Ronaldo will bring goals to his team, the suggestion still lingers that the 37-year-old doesn’t fit with the Dutch coach's preferred playing style.
